@synthwave_jo add 'be direct, skip preamble' to your system prompt. fixes it completely
anyone else find it weirdly formal sometimes? I just want the answer not a mini essay before it
claude for thinking, gpt for doing. that's been my workflow for months and it works really well
@quentin_nowhere for rapid coding iteration I still prefer gpt. claude is slower to go back and forth with
switched from chatgpt 6 months ago and I don't miss it. reasoning on complex multi-step tasks is just better
the tone is what gets me. it writes like someone who actually thought about what they were saying
@neon_priya yes but double check citations. it sometimes attributes quotes to the wrong paper
underrated for research synthesis. dump 10 papers into it and ask for a coherent summary. saves literal hours
other models give you content. claude gives you prose. that's the difference and it matters a lot
